Circular economy
Finland is the World greenest country (Environmental performance index 2016), aslo it is 2nd in the Global Cleantech Innovation Index (WEF, Cleantech Group, 2017). The Finnish Government has identified Tampere Region as a key region for the implementation of its cleantech strategy. Tampere coordinates nationally significant Circular Economy project 6Aika. Also it has the biggest in Finland competence centre uniting 28 organisations and 70 mln euro investment, which runs various projects and pilots on Recycling in close cooperation with industry, municipality and research organisations. The years of collaboration inside this wide and wisely managed ecosystem brought impactful and sizable results.
